Meet Charlotte

Hey guys! So I'm Charlotte. I live with my mum and my older brother. I love singing, dancing performing. My favourite subjects are Music, Art, English, Physics and Biology. For my GCSE's I took, History, French, Art and Music. I'm absolutely rubbish at P.E and Maths. I am totally in love with Musicals, Les Mis, Hamilton, Grease, The Sound of Music. You name it.

So basically, my mum and dad split up when I was six. My mum, brother and I moved into a small two bedroom house. It was tough. My mum developed depression and anxiety, which I only came to realize recently.

I began reading from a really young age. Always had my nose in a book. I developed a love for reading.

I was twelve when I started reading Harry Potter.

I had been at my Dad's girlfriend's house, and we all watched Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. I was captivated by the story, and as soon as I got home I began reading the books my brother had once read.

On my thirteenth birthday I got tumblr and started looking at people's pages.

I had begun to learn about the suffragette's in school in Year 5. It was always my favourite subject in History. I loved Emmeline Pankhurst. When I was twelve I went to see the movie - Suffragette - with my mum. At the end, where it told you that Sudia Rabia still didn't give women the right to vote I was confused.

So I searched it all up on the internet, for months and months. Until I came upon a word.

Then I read this amazing book called What's a Girl Gotta Do? by Holly Bourne, which inspired Jessica and I to make this blog.
