"We need to re-shape our own perception of how we view ourselves. We have to step-up as woman and take the lead"

Hi Guys;
So as Charlotte has already told you about what we are doing, I'm basically going to skip the intro for this post because i don't want to waste time re-explaining everything that has already been explained.
Beyonce Giselle Knowles Carter was born on September 4th 1981 in Houston Texas. She was a former singer in the band Destiny's Child and is now a solo singer, songwriter and actress.
Beyonce isn't a well known feminist, but what can i say, i didn't even know that she was one!
In an interview with ELLE Magazine; she quoted on her beliefs and her thoughts.
"I’m not really sure people know or understand what a feminist is, but it’s very simple. It’s someone who believes in equal rights for men and women. I don’t understand the negative connotation of the word, or why it should exclude the opposite sex. If you are a man who believes your daughter should have the same opportunities and rights as your son, then you’re a feminist. We need men and women to understand the double standards that still exist in this world, and we need to have a real conversation so we can begin to make changes."
"We all know that’s not true. Choosing to be a feminist has nothing to do with your femininity — or, for that matter, your masculinity,” she told ELLE. “We’re not all just one thing. Everyone who believes in equal rights for men and women doesn’t speak the same, or dress the same, or think the same. If a man can do it, a woman should be able to. It’s that simple.“
So Beyonce is such a strong Feminist and a great inspiration to anyone who is still unsure on what they think and their own personal thoughts about it.
You should go and read our last blog posts, and we have some more coming this week!
Thank you guys for all the support!
